Girls and boys !!
I have done all I feel like I can do at this point !!!! My 16 yr old (almost 17) has changed right before my eyes ....... over a boy !!! He is almost 20 yrs old and they dated for a short time and he cheated on her and was doing drugs so we put an end to this . This has now been over a yr ago and she continues to see him and call him . We have now put a no contact order in the system .She has plans to go to college but now she wants to go to Rice in Huston where this boy is from . She asked us the other night if she was to end up with this boy if we would still be there for her ........ our answer was yes but we will NOT support your decision to be with him !!!! He has beaten on his girlfriend and threatened her parents . He has been seeing my daughter while living with this girl . So my need is to get some advice on how to deal with this without losing my daughter ?

She has stopped talking about this boy .....but I am not going to say she is over it !!!! She is planning on graduating in Dec early of this yr and says she is moving out and in a round about way has let us know it will be with this guy , we told her that she had to buy her stuff so she needs to start now and that we have came to terms with the fact that she may be moving in with him . We have told her that we dont like it but she will be 18 ( not that she is grown at this point only thinks she is ) . She is such an innocent that she doesnt understand what she is getting into . Hoping that by us telling her that we have came to terms with it that it doesnt look as good as it did at first !!!
