- Not quite a teen just yet at nearly 12yrs old but boy, am I noticing the changes in him! I want to be educated about teens and what to expect before it hits us both full on. I've noticed that the dynamics of our relationship are changing, day by day.

- How can I prepare us for the transitions we will both go through/or maybe already experiencing?

- His defiance and insistance on arguing the point with me. I try not to get into conflict with him and reduce it to a standoff. I've introduced the code word 'peace' so we both know we need to go into separate rooms to cool down.
