Gee, you're up early answering queries. I think I am probably worrying in advance. Now she's more in the 'big wide world' of College and I think that my problem is that I worry about the influences that MAY be there. She seems pretty OK so far, so I guess I have to trust her and let go a bit?

Profile Information

Hometown:
Nelson, NZ
About Me:
I am a full time mother, married, live on a farm 2, children a 13 year old daughter and 9 year old son.
About my teenager:
My daughter is fairly quiet, is in a good class at school and does her work well. She is not very self motivated and tends to sit around on the computer at home. She has started college and does not know many of the kids well yet. She and my husband (her father) clash a lot.
The one question I would like to ask Sarah.
How to help her get motivated and to want to succed ( is influenced by friends who do not think it cool to try ).
My biggest challenge.
Being caught in the middle between father and daughter and also trying to let go as she makes new friends in the city.
