Sounds like you need to first get very clear on what is and is not OK in your home. If you were to make a list now - what would they be? Then lets go from there...
dear Sarah
My teenager regularly lies about her activities, even when she knows that I have witnessed them! She carries cigarettes and lighters with her and says that she does not smoke but carries them for her friends to "stop them getting stressed". She also carries alcohol into school when she knows that it is against the rules (she consumes it there because the containers come back empty). recently she sneaked a young man into our home and on taking her mobile phone into her bedroom I found him naked on top of her in bed. The next morning she said that they had their clothes on and that they were not having sex. what can I do when she continues to say that black is white?
