Married, 40 something who loves writing and radio (as in being a DJ whether it be on community radio or hospital radio)
About my teenager:
2 teenage girls aged 14 and 16.

The 14 year old has a boyfriend and spends most of her time there (Dan's mom does this, Dan's mom does that, why can't you be like Dan's mum) Luckily Dan's mom is great and I love her to bits!

16 year old is the one who won't eat breakfast and gets up at 8am and constantly makes us late as she's PUTTING HER MAKE UP ON!!!!

my teenager was nice!!! :)

She didn't come in on time and forgot to ring me, but when she DID come home she was all talkative and friendly!!! Progress!

My mate Jackie I've known since school. She has a grown up son. Her feedback was maybe I should NOT have approached Vicki on the swearing incident. I should have waited til she came to me. Then it would have been absolutely clear she wasn't allowed to the party on Friday. I'm giving mixed signals....which is what hubby mark was saying...hmmm. She has cried at night over her teenager. You just don't let them see it.

And Vicki was on time this morning!!! 8.30am on the dot! :)

Saturday...yes there's more

So I tried to have words with this 16 year old of mine....she had got writing (felt pen) emblazoned with messages on her chest...she was laughing as she couldn't remember some of what had happened....anyway this time her Dad actually put his foot down....all she said to me is "you can't make me stop drinking"

Apparently they only had 2 drinks. The party was an 18th birthday party in a local hall. And they didn't take any money but people kept buying them drinks...unless they were spiked. they u… Continue
